Precon News: 4800 Yonge Delayed. What about other North York Options?

March 9, 2023

4800 Yonge, the long-awaited project by the reputable Menkes Development, has been delayed indefinitely into the near future.

Originally launched pre-pandemic and slated for an early March launch, this project has been highly anticipated due to its incredible location directly at Yonge & Sheppard.

For those who are worried about its status moving forward, here are some alternatives in North York that we currently have on hand.

LSQ Condos:
A masterplan project steps away from Don Mills TTC. LSQ is our choice for the best alternative to 4800 Yonge. Aiming to provide thousands of residential and commercial opportunities, LSQ is the most notable disruptor in the North York real estate landscape in the past few years. Current incentives include Free Assignment as well an extended deposit schedule with only 5% down a year.

NorthCore Condos:
The most logical alternative to 4800 Yonge in regards to location. NorthCore is also located close to the main intersection of Yonge & Sheppard. Having launched last November, we currently have access to a wide selection of Inventory Units, ranging from Studios up to 3 Bedrooms.

Express 2:
Located steps away from Wilson TTC. Express 2 has the largest amount of available incentives of all North York projects we have access to.
This includes:
Free assignment
Free right to lease
Capped development charges
Free Kitchen Island
Credit applicable on Closing
1Bed+Den&Smaller $8,000
Promotion Deposit Structure: 12.5% Before occupancy

Olive Residences:

Olive Residences has direct access to Finch TTC station, and is the earliest launching project on this list, with an Occupancy slated for 2025. Incentives include Free Assignment, paired with capped fees.
